NEPAL HERITAGE DOCUMENTATION PROJECT (NHDP)
NHDP documents and freely shares comprehensive records of Nepal's endangered historical and cultural monuments on its online database, Digital Archive of Nepalese Arts and Architecture (DANAM). DANAM's searchable datasets contain structured information about the monuments, including their location, history, architectural structure, and religious and social activities. It includes historical and recent photographs, maps, plans, drawings, and inscriptions. NHDP also offers the NepalHeritageApp and thematic heritage walks curated by experts from Nepal and abroad. Join us in exploring Nepal's built and intangible heritage! Discover more about Nepal's cultural heritage in DANAM through various entry-points:
